Yorkwalk can provide private
walking and/or coach tours of York. These can be tailored
to suit your group and the time available.
Private Walking Tours
Whatever your requirements, Yorkwalk will be pleased to provide a tour of York tailor made on any date, at any time and at any starting place to suit your requirements. Private bookings are welcome at any time; as we have a number of guides it is possible to arrange a private tour to accommodate any size of group from 1 to 200. Student Groups (18+) a speciality.
Choose from our extensive repertoire from any of our special or regular walks.
We also offer a tailor made 'Essential York' walk including the best of the Walls, Historic streets and Snickelways (York's picturesque hidden alleyways), plus the exterior of the Minster; we also have Minster accredited guides if you wish to include the Minster interior (Minster admission is extra).

*A personal guiding service for one or two people is also available (minimum fee £50 for up to 2 hours + £25 for each additional hour).
**Parties of more than 25 will be provided with 2 guides to ensure that all members are able to enjoy the experience.
If you require a foreign
language guide please add £30 per guide to the total cost
of the booking.
Party leaders/couriers are
not charged.
Private Bookings
on Publicly advertised tours in York
Bookings are not necessary
for individuals or small groups wishing to join any of our
public walks - just turn up on the day. Larger groups
(10+) wishing to join regular public walks should pre-book
if possible and this will give you a discounted price.

Private Coach
Tours
We offer a special service to coach parties comprising of a one hour guided tour on your coach followed by a one hour walk with one or two guides, or a coach commentary tour on its own lasting one to one and a half hours with one guide. The cost will be from £85 - £100 depending on the number of people in the group.
Other Services* Refreshments in historic surroundings.
* Tours in German, French, Italian, Spanish and other foreign languages by arrangement.
* Corporate conference and incentive groups welcome at any time.
